At the Better Weigh Center we want to provide our patients with the most current and helpful information available.
Our practice uses an electronic medical record (EMR) called RemedyMD that is specifically designed for weight loss surgery patients.
Prior to your initial visit you will be required to register on RemedyMD and provide a full and complete medical history, including a list of all current medications (prescription and over-the-counter). It will take approximately 45-60 minutes to complete the registration process.

At The Better Weigh Center, we understand how important support groups are for patients. It is incredibly powerful for patients to be surrounded by other patients who have felt the profound impact that obesity has on a life and to understand that they are not alone in this battle. Support groups offer positive reinforcement, encouragement, and in our case, knowledge. Our main monthly support group is led by professionals with experience in leading groups and is structured in a way that encourages interaction and conversation but also teaches the skills that are necessary for long-term success. For those that like a small group format, we offer additional professionally led groups addressing specific topics.
